Great Show!

The Blomin' Festival was a great success!  I met so many nice and interesting people and lots of friends stopped by too.  This was the first time I had my crosses on display attached to driftwood.  They were well received!  Actually, the first thing I sold was one of the crosses on driftwood.  The one on the right pictured below..

And I sold it to one of our clients from the insurance agency where I work full time.  He said, you said you did pottery but I didn't know you could do THIS!  He and his wife are very nice!  I met another potter at the show too who does this as his full time job, along with his wife.  Maybe one day I can do it too...I can dream, can't I? 

Bloomin' Festival

The Bloomin' Festival is this weekend!  April 9-10, 9-5 each day.  The weather is supposed to be lovely.  There are over 150 artists and crafters registered.  There are lots and lots of activities going on.  It's always a great show. They're even raffling a Jeep!  (Sam, my 18 yr old, wants that!  What a shock.)  If you're out and about, come by and see me.  I have lots of crosses made for perfect Easter gifts.  I have no idea where my booth will be, but I shouldn't be too hard to find.
